Puot Kun Chuol

Puot Kun Chuol was born in Maiwut County, Upper State, Republic of South Sudan. Puot Kun Chuol’s journey is a compelling testament to resilience, service, and lifelong learning. In June 1999, he immigrated to the United States, making Minnesota his new home where he would lay down roots and pursue opportunity.
Puot completed his high school education at Faribault Senior High School, earning his diploma in June 2001. He continued his studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato (2001–2003) and later at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska (2003–2004), laying a diverse academic foundation before answering the call to serve his adopted country.
In 2005, Puot enlisted in the United States Army, where he trained at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, earning credentials in Basic Combat Training and Individual Advanced Training. His exemplary career as a Transportation Specialist led him through an impressive lineup of professional development, including Airborne School, the United States Army Drill Sergeant School, and the Senior Transportation Operations Course. He also completed Warrior Leadership Course (WLC/BLC), Advanced Leadership Course (ALC), Senior Leadership Course (SLC), and specialized programs in Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault, Equal Opportunity, and Master Resilience.
Puot’s commitment to education did not waver alongside his military service. He earned a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology (2024) from Walden University, with a focus on Self-Design. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2018) from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate Degree in General Studies (2016) from the same institution.
Today, Puot Kun Chuol stands as a proven leader and an accomplished military professional whose career is marked by strategic expertise, dedication to lifelong learning, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. His blend of practical military leadership and advanced psychological training uniquely equips him to inspire, mentor, and drive excellence in any team or mission.
